The short version of it is that while Raquel and Ares are deeply in love, they agree to break up as they both head to university — Ares to study medicine, and Raquel to study literature. La pluma de la autora me parece un desastre. No tiene ritmo, es cansina, repetitiva, escupe comas como quien escupe la cascara de las pipas y cada vez que intenta hacer una reflexión profunda termina pareciendo un niño de diez años que acaba de descubrir el mundo y no sabe expresarse. El estar escrito en primera persona y presente no ayuda a transmitir nada. De hecho creo que termina infantilizando (más) los personajes y lo que pasa en la historia. De vez en cuando Ares toma el relevo de Raquel, sin efecto alguno (y mucho menos positivo). No hay profundidad, reflexionan poco, son inconexos y monotemáticos. Ares Hidalgo es el peor personaje masculino que he leído, no tiene ambiciones, personalidad y es una red flag andante (como diría la chaviza de hoy en día) es decir que tiene conductas muuuy dudosas como: Manipulador, controlador, misógino, abusador, manipulación emocional, etc... Como no va a sorprender a nadie, tampoco se salva ningún personaje. Podríamos decir que Apolo, el Hidalgo pequeño, podría salvarse, pero sus apariciones son random, su carácter fluctuante y ni siquiera sé que pinta en la historia. También tenemos a Dani, amiga de la protagonista y que tiene un hermano que se llama Daniel y lo hace todo más confuso aun, es una de las peores amigas jamás creadas. Da consejos de mierda, como que mejor que el tío que te gusta te trate mal a que pase de ti, y su función en el libro es aparecer sin aviso cada vez que la protagonista quiere llorar por el idiota de Hidalgo.
